Parul Shah, MD is a board-certified dermatologist who was born and raised in St.Louis, Missouri. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She attended the six-year combined undergraduate/ medical school program at the University of Missouri- Kansas City where she received her BA/MD degree. She completed her dermatology residency from St.Louis University.
Since completing her residency she has practiced general dermatology and some cosmetic dermatology in many areas throughout the United States including Illinois, Southern California, Texas and Maryland. She has also volunteered her medical services in Kenya and India. Although she is experienced with all areas of general dermatology, her interests include treating acne, offering good skin care advice and cosmetic dermatology.
In her free time she enjoys traveling, hiking and trying new foods and restaurants with her husband as well as good coffee, reading books/libraries and watching movies.
