“Eyebrows are like shoes: you don’t notice them unless they are exquisitely right or disastrously wrong.”

– The New York Times Style Magazine: When It Comes to Brows, Thin Is Not In

What is microblading?

Microblading is a form of permanent makeup that creates natural, beautiful eyebrows with a handheld microblade. It’s perfect for people who have over plucked or those who want to define, darken or reshape their eyebrows. The secret is the microblade, a manual tool we use to hand draw every hair stroke. There is an art to microblading, and that’s why our artist works with you to customize your best brows. The goal is to create beautiful brows that match the symmetry of your face. We’ll take the time to help you find the perfect color and shape just for you. If you’re tired of thin, lifeless brows contact us today to discover how our microblading artists can help.

What should I expect?

Clients must be off Retin A or any such product thirty days prior to application and Accutane for one year prior to application.

Things to avoid 48 hours prior to application, unless medically necessary:

  • Aspirin or similar products (Tylenol and Ibuprofen are okay)
  • Alcohol
  • Niacin and Vitamin E
  • Gingko Biloba, St. John’s Wort, Evening Primrose Oil

If you have any condition that requires you to take antibiotics prior to going to the dentist, please check with your doctor to see if it is necessary prior to your microblading application. It is important not to have a sunburn prior to and avoid tanning for three weeks after any procedures.

After your appointment:

All procedures can be considered a multi-stage process. A touch-up session will be scheduled 4-6 weeks after your initial application. Final result of color consistency or defined lines can be achieved as a result of a touch-up appointment.

Only use new makeup that may come in contact with the area after application. It is important to prevent secondary infection by being exposed to bacteria.

Avoid sunburn, salt or chlorine water, or hot tubs until your tattoo is completely healed. In the event mild scabbing occurs, do not pick at or attempt to “wash off” the scab. Allow it to do so by itself. Apply ointment to keep “flaking” to a minimum.
